Today in class students started their Unit 5 Vocabulary Boxes.
For each word students need to write:
two things the word is like
two things the word is not like
draw and color one picture to illustrate the word.
The vocabulary boxes are due on Tuesday. They will also have their vocabulary quiz on Tuesday. PreAp students will need to know the definition of the word AND be able to spell the word correctly.
On Monday all students will have a warmup quiz. An example of a quiz question would be: What was the answer to the warmup on September 22nd? or What was the warmup question on October 12th? Students will be able to use their notebooks where they have written the warmups on the quiz. If students were absent or want to check their warmups they can find a record of all the warmups by clicking the link on the left side of the blog.

Rebellious not like: compliant - following the rules - going the speed limit
World Power not like: Jamestown, new country,
Proprietor not like: slave, colonist
Legislature not like: students in a classroom
