Today we started Unit 8. In class students began working on their Unit 8 Vocabulary Squares. I have given them the definition for each word and students need to write:

  • two things each word is like
  • two things each word is not like
  • draw a picture

Vocabulary squares are due tomorrow (Wednesday) and the vocabulary quiz will be on Thursday March 4th.

    Hi Emily for things suffrage is like i got The Bill Of Rights.
    productivity is not like- i got slow, a turtle, or a snail.
    for morally what its not like- i got brave or not worried.

    i got for abolitionist things its like is Harriet Tubman and for what its not like an actual slave or a plantation owner.

    Equal rights things its like is fairness or sharing and its not like is giving one person more power.
